Are you making a Flash presentation for Christmas? Enhance your animation with falling snowflakes! No need to exercise your programming skills. Snow Flash Effect is readily available, highly customizable, and completely free to use. Adding a snowfall to your Flash clip is as easy as dragging Snow Flash Effect onto your animation and choosing your favorite snowflake; everything else is pre-programmed into the component.

Want a snowstorm instead of a peaceful snowfall? Speed up horizontal movements and add more articles to achieve the effect! Create a perfect snowfall for any Christmas - no matter what's outdoors!

Don't like frozen water? Making rain, drizzle or rainfall is just as easy. Select a water drop instead of a snowflake, and tweak size, speed and amount of particles for a

perfect shower.

Need more options? They're here! You can make the fall more or less intensive, modify particle speed, direction and deviation, control color and transparency of the particles and background, and set particle size.

Making an animated aquarium? How about adding bubbles? Make an underwater experience with Snow Flash Effect just as easily as you made the snowfall! To turn your snowfall into rising bubbles you need just two clicks. Replace the image of a snowflake with an image of a bubble, and reverse vertical direction so that your bubbles rise instead of fall.

Needless to say, soap bubbles work just the same way. Just reverse vertical direction once again, slow them down a bit, add a little chaos by tweaking the Noise Factor. If it's windy, blow at your bubbles with the Speed X option.

Working on a space project? Add a realistic space flight effect by simply enabling the Fly to Space option! Falling stars and warping planets are easily possible with a little bit of creativity. Enable your imagination, and you'll get great visual effects!

Are they only for use on websites?

Can they be used to put effect right on a photo that I can insert in an email body?

or even on a web page from Word or Powerpoint that will bring it up on a browser?

I understood that the Snow Flash Effect was for PC's and Mac, but it was an MXP file, which I could not download on my Mac. If you have this for Mac, I would love to try it.

Did not load creates all kinds of icons on desktop, no option to run and when it did you had to select program to run, no idea which one to choose.

Here's the deal. The last time I used Flash it was version 2...a long time ago. The snow I downloaded was way beyond what I needed. It did illustrate to me that code is powerful. I did try follow the step-by-step instructions and was unsuccessful. The instruction were very clear...it's me! I will be self training over the holidays and my goal is to become comfortable within the Flash interface.

You need to Fix The Snow Flash Does Not Work!

I have downloaded this so many times and it does not work! I have read what others have said on this site as well. They have said the same thing that this program has missing components that is why no one can use it. Now since this is a free program it would be nice that they would explain to people what other programs you need to work with this. And also there is Vista and you know that Vista smh is not compatible with any kind of a exe program. It would be nice to have this program., but since I do psp I have other programs that makes snows and I can animated it myself.

didnt know how to load it

I couldn't use it because I didn't know how to load the component and I didn't have time to search for the answer. Simply drag-n-drop as mentioned in the descriptions returned with an error.

I dont think it worked on my computer

I downloaded a lot of snow screensavers and desktop stuff that I cant remember which was wich but, I dont have one named "snow flash effect" in the folder where I downloaded them all to so I must of trashed it because it didnt work for some reason....

Snow Effect has potential.

This effect does work and has a lot of potential for use in other effects. It was a bit confusing as to how to load into Flash. The message boards really helped. Thanks!
